Senior AI Engineer | London, Onsite | Up to £150,000 + EquityI’m working with a fast-growing, venture-backed AI company building software for major financial institutions. Their platform turns complex, manual workflows into AI-powered systems used across global teams.They’re looking for an engineer who has shipped AI applications into production and wants to take ownership of the infrastructure behind them. You’ll work directly with the founders and build across AI agents, RAG pipelines, evaluation frameworks and the backend services that support them.What you’ll be doing:Designing and deploying agent-based systems and RAG pipelinesBuilding reliable backend services and APIs, ideally with PythonDeveloping evaluation and monitoring for AI features in productionWorking with data pipelines, relational databases, Redis and background workersContributing across the stack where the product needs itHelping set engineering standards and mentoring less experienced developersWhat they’re looking for:5+ years in software engineeringHands-on experience deploying AI applications to productionStrong backend engineering skills; Python, Django or FastAPI are especially relevantExperience with cloud infrastructure, Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CDA practical approach to performance, reliability and securityThis is a high-intensity, onsite role with shifting priorities and significant ownership.
