The team continually explores new approaches to solving a wide range of societal challenges, from simple to complex.Role Description: The Senior AI Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing AI and machine learning models that support smart city and home automation products. Day-to-day tasks include developing and deploying AI algorithms, collaborating with software engineers and product teams to integrate AI components, and conducting experiments to improve model performance and reliability. The Senior AI Engineer will analyze large datasets, build scalable AI pipelines, and contribute to architecture decisions for edge and cloud-based IoT solutions. The role also involves mentoring junior engineers, documenting technical work, and staying current with advances in AI, machine learning, and IoT technologies.QualificationsStrong foundation in Computer Science and Software Development, including data structures, algorithms, and production-quality coding practices.Experience with Neural Networks and Pattern Recognition, with a track record of building and optimizing machine learning models for real-world applications.Hands-on expertise in Natural Language Processing (NLP), such as text classification, intent detection, and conversational AI, is highly beneficial.Proficiency in modern AI/ML tools and frameworks (e.g., Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn) and familiarity with cloud or edge deployment environments.Modern AI engineering heavily emphasizes generative AI systems, RAG optimization, LLMOps, infrastructure scalability, and production economicsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Data Science, or a related field; equivalent practical experience considered.Experience working with IoT or embedded systems, smart city, or home automation solutions is a plus.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and communicate complex ideas clearly.Fluency in English for technical communication; Vietnamese language skills are an advantage but not required.
