AI-Native Full-Stack Product Engineer

Employment Type: Full-timeAbout the rolePropwise is building AI-first real estate products, and we are looking for engineers who can take a feature from an idea to production completely independently.This is not a role where you receive a frontend task, finish your component, and hand the rest to someone else.We want engineers who can receive a requirement, understand the product problem, design the solution, implement the backend, web and mobile parts, integrate the AI layer where needed, test the complete flow, debug it, and ship it.You should already have experience owning features from A to Z.Core stack — requiredYou must be strong with:TypeScriptReactNext.jsReact NativeNode.jsREST APIsDatabases and backend architectureGit and modern CI/CD workflowsThese are requirements, not nice-to-haves.What you’ll doYou will own complete product features from idea to production.That can include:Understanding the requirement and identifying missing detailsDesigning the technical approachBuilding backend APIs and database changesBuilding the web experienceBuilding the mobile experience in React NativeIntegrating AI models, agents, tools and workflowsWriting automated testsTesting the complete feature end-to-endHandling edge cases and failure scenariosDebugging across the entire stackReviewing other engineers’ workFixing issues discovered during reviewShipping and validating the feature in productionWe expect engineers to think beyond their individual code changes.If a feature touches backend, web and mobile, you should be comfortable understanding and working across all three.AI-native engineeringWe use AI coding tools extensively throughout our engineering workflow.Claude Code and similar tools are part of how we build software every day.We are looking for engineers who already know how to use AI effectively for:ImplementationArchitectureDebuggingRefactoringTestingCode reviewResearchDocumentationExploring unfamiliar parts of a codebaseBut using AI is not enough.You must understand the systems you are building well enough to know when the AI is wrong.We value engineering judgment more than manual coding speed.AI product experienceBecause Propwise is AI-first, you should be comfortable working with:LLM APIsAI agentsTool and function callingStructured outputsPrompt and context engineeringAI workflowsSkills and reusable agent capabilitiesEvals and regression testing for AI systemsObservability and debugging of AI behaviorYou do not need to be an AI researcher, but you should have real experience shipping AI-powered product features.Data experienceSome features may also involve:Web scrapingData extractionData cleaningData normalizationETL pipelinesThird-party APIsLarge datasetsYou should be comfortable working with data when the feature requires it.The kind of engineer we wantWe are specifically looking for people who have experience being given something like:“We want users to be able to do X.”And then taking responsibility for everything required to make X actually work.You should naturally think about:What needs to change in the database?What API should exist?How should the web app behave?How should the mobile app behave?What happens when something fails?What permissions are required?What edge cases exist?How do we test this?How do we know it is actually production-ready?We want builders with strong ownership.Not engineers who stop when their individual part is finished.What we’re looking forProven experience building and shipping full-stack productsStrong TypeScript, React, Next.js, React Native and Node.js experienceExperience owning features end-to-endStrong backend and API knowledgeStrong understanding of databases and system designExperience building production AI/LLM featuresStrong use of AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or similarStrong debugging ability across multiple layers of a systemExperience writing automated tests and validating complete user flowsAbility to review AI-generated code criticallyStrong product thinkingHigh ownership and independenceWhat we do NOT wantWe are not looking for someone who thinks:“That is a backend task.”“That is a mobile problem.”“QA should test this.”“My part works, so I’m done.”We are looking for engineers who think:“Give me the feature.
