Senior AI Product Engineer

You won't be maintaining someone else's roadmap. You'll involved in shaping the architecture, the AI systems, the way we build, and a new category of AI-native work.It's work you'll be proud of in ten years.What you'll doBuild 0→1. You'll own the AI system and the product around it end to end, from the interface to production.Design how our agents reason, act and stay grounded. That covers retrieval, semantic search, embeddings, LLM workflows, and choosing models and providers.Make AI quality measurable. You'll build the evals and observability that tell us whether the product is getting better.Own architecture and the big technical calls: what to build, what to buy, and how the system stays secure and scalable as it grows.Design how we connect to the tools and data our users rely on.Make product and UX calls yourself. There are no PMs and no designers to hand off to. You'll collaborate with the engineering team and founder, and talk to users and decide what to build.Set the engineering standards (code quality, testing, reviews, how we ship), mentor the engineers who join, and shape technical direction alongside the founder.Work AI-native: AI coding agents are a core part of how we build, not a side experiment.Who this is forYou've shipped agentic products real people use, and you know the hard part starts after the demo. You care about the user's problemsm and the product as much as the system behind it, and you want breadth, ownership and a say in where things go.Backgrounds that tend to succeedFormer founders, builders, or engineers who've been early at a startup.Open-source maintainers.Product engineers who've shipped complete products on their own.What we're looking for6+ years building and shipping production software, with substantial recent work on agentic & LLM-powered products.Deep, broad full-stack ability: you're as comfortable designing data models and system architecture as you are shipping UI.Hands-on experience with agents, retrieval and evals in production.A record of shaping architecture and raising the engineering bar for a team.Strong product judgement and clear written communication.Nice to haveTypeScript, React/Next.js, Node.js, Postgres/pgvector, LLM APIs (Anthropic, OpenAI), multi-tenant SaaS, cloud/serverless deployment, CI/CD, and data integrations.What matters most to us is that you can build and ship complete products.
