Senior AI Research Scientist

Role Description The Senior AI Research Scientist role at TECH HOT JOBS is a part-time, hybrid position based in Dubai, with flexibility for some work from home. In this role, the scientist will design and conduct advanced research in artificial intelligence, develop and evaluate machine learning models, and explore new approaches in pattern recognition and data-driven decision-making. Daily responsibilities include formulating research hypotheses, running experiments, analyzing results using statistical and data science methods, and documenting findings in technical reports or publications. The scientist will collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor junior contributors, and stay current with emerging AI research to inform product and strategy decisions.QualificationsStrong foundation in Computer Science, including algorithms, data structures, and systems relevant to AI.Expertise in Pattern Recognition and related machine learning techniques for structured and unstructured data.Advanced Data Science skills, including data modeling, feature engineering, and experiment design.Proven Research experience, with a track record of published work, prototypes, or applied AI projects.Solid knowledge of Statistics for model evaluation, hypothesis testing, and quantitative analysis.Proficiency in common AI/ML tools and languages (e.g., Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, NumPy, Pandas).Experience working in hybrid environments and collaborating with distributed, multidisciplinary teams.Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related quantitative field.Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
