Its vision is to establish India as a leading global hotspot for early-stage resource exploration and “Atmanirbhar” (self-reliant) exploration infrastructure.Role Description The Senior Airborne Survey Geophysicist will lead the design, execution, and interpretation of airborne geophysical surveys for early-stage exploration projects. This full-time, on-site role based in Telangana, India involves planning survey parameters, supervising data acquisition on survey aircraft, and ensuring adherence to safety and quality protocols. The role includes processing and interpreting geophysical datasets, integrating results with geological and geospatial information, and preparing technical reports, maps, and recommendations for exploration targets. The Senior Geophysicist will collaborate closely with pilots, field teams, data scientists, and exploration geologists to optimize survey efficiency and effectiveness. The position also requires mentoring junior staff, contributing to technology and workflow improvements, and engaging with clients and stakeholders on technical project discussions.Qualifications Strong geophysics and geology foundations, including experience with airborne survey methods (e.g., magnetics, electromagnetics, gravity, radiometrics) and subsurface interpretation.Proficiency in geophysical data processing and modeling using industry-standard software (e.g., Oasis montaj, Geosoft, Petrel, or similar tools) and GIS platforms.Demonstrated ability to plan and manage field operations, coordinate with aviation and technical crews, and maintain strict safety and quality standards.Experience integrating geophysical datasets with geological, geochemical, and remote-sensing data to define exploration targets for minerals, hydrocarbons, or other resources.Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex datasets and communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.Relevant degree in Geophysics, Geology, Earth Sciences, or a closely related field; a postgraduate degree and prior experience in airborne surveys are highly beneficial.Proven experience in early-stage exploration projects, preferably in large or unexplored terrains, and familiarity
