Job Title: Senior Allegro ConsultantLocation- Houston, Texas – 5 days on-siteType: Full TimeRole SummaryThe Senior Allegro Consultant will be responsible for leading the analysis, design, implementation, enhancement, and support of Allegro Horizon solutions for commodity trading organizations.

The role requires deep expertise in Energy Trading and Risk Management (ETRM), strong functional and technical knowledge of Allegro, and the ability to work closely with business stakeholders, traders, schedulers, risk analysts, accountants, and IT teams to deliver business value.Key ResponsibilitiesSolution Design & DeliveryLead requirements gathering, business process analysis, and solution design workshops.Translate business requirements into scalable Allegro configurations and system designs.Design and implement front-, mid-, and back-office workflows within Allegro.Support end-to-end project delivery across implementation, upgrade, migration, and enhancement engagements.Develop functional specifications and support technical design activities.Business & Functional ConsultingServe as a trusted advisor to trading, risk, scheduling, settlements, and accounting stakeholders.Provide subject matter expertise across the commodity trade lifecycle.Conduct fit-gap assessments and recommend best practices aligned with Allegro capabilities.Facilitate UAT, business validation, and production readiness activities.System Integration & TestingDefine integration requirements with ERP, risk, pricing, scheduling, and reporting platforms.Support SIT, UAT, regression testing, and defect management.Work closely with development teams to validate solutions and resolve issues.Ensure data quality, controls, and compliance requirements are addressed.AMS & Production SupportProvide functional oversight for Allegro production support and enhancement activities.Manage incident, problem, and service request resolution within agreed SLAs.Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end business processes.Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation.Leadership & Capability DevelopmentMentor junior consultants and business analysts.Contribute to solution accelerators, reusable assets, and delivery methodologies.Support RFPs, client presentations, solution workshops, and pursuit activities.Conduct internal training and capability-building initiatives.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Finance, Supply Chain, or related field.8+ years of ETRM/CTRM industry experience.5+ years of hands-on Allegro Horizon experience.Strong understanding of commodity trading processes across:Natural GasPowerLNGRequired SkillsAllegro Horizon Configuration & Functional Design (minimum. 5 years)Trade Lifecycle ManagementRisk Management & Exposure ReportingSettlements and AccountingBusiness Analysis & Requirements ManagementInterface & Integration DesignTesting and Defect ManagementStakeholder ManagementWorkshop FacilitationAgile and Waterfall Delivery MethodologiesPreferred SkillsSQL and Data Analysis.NET and/or PythonAzure DevOps / JiraExperience with SAP S/4HANA integrationExperience with RightAngle, Endur, or other ETRM platformsAllegro Certification preferredExperience ProfileExperience in at least 2-3 full-cycle Allegro implementations, upgrades, or transformations.Experience in AMS/support engagements.Proven client-facing consulting experience.Ability to lead workstreams and mentor junior team members.Key CompetenciesCommodity Trading Domain ExpertiseAnalytical ThinkingProblem SolvingExecutive CommunicationStakeholder ManagementTeam LeadershipCustomer FocusDelivery Excellence
