Senior Analyst – Associate 2 | Tech M&A Advisory | Leading M&A Boutique

Our client, a highly regarded independent advisory boutique focused exclusively on the technology sector, is looking to add Senior Analysts through to Associate 2 level talent to its growing deal team.The firm advises founders, investors and corporates on sell-side and buy-side M&A and capital raises across the technology landscape, with particular depth in deep tech. Think AI and machine learning, semiconductors, quantum, robotics, cybersecurity and advanced hardware. Mandates are typically cross-border, founder-led and highly technical, so this is a seat for someone who enjoys understanding the technology as much as the deal.The roleWorking on live M&A and growth financing mandates from origination through to completionBuilding and owning financial models, valuation analysis and transaction materialsDrafting information memoranda, management presentations and buyer/investor materialsRunning buyer outreach, managing data rooms and coordinating due diligenceDirect exposure to founders, CEOs and senior stakeholders on both sides of the dealSupporting origination through sector research, market mapping and thought leadershipMentoring and reviewing the work of junior analysts (more senior candidates)Candidate Requirements:Senior Analyst to Associate 2 level experience from an investment bank, M&A boutique, Big 4 corporate finance team or similar advisory environmentTech M&A experience is strongly preferred, and exposure to deep tech or highly technical businesses will be a real differentiatorStrong modelling, valuation and presentation skillsA genuine interest in technology and the ability to get under the skin of complex products and business models quicklyCommercial maturity and confidence dealing with founders and senior managementComfortable in a lean team where you will get real responsibility earlyThis is a chance to join a specialist firm with a strong deal flow and a reputation for advising on some of the most interesting businesses in the technology sector.
