This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional with experience in capital management, financial planning, investment banking, or related financial services areas. You will support the Bank's capital strategy, debt funding activities, shareholder-return initiatives, financial forecasting, investor engagement, and market analysis.What is expected of you?Support the execution of capital issuances and debt funding transactions, including documentation, data preparation, and internal approvalsMaintain and monitor records of capital and funding instruments, including CET1, AT1, Tier 2, MREL-eligible instruments, eligible deposits, and commercial paperContribute to capital-structure optimisation initiatives, supporting analysis aimed at improving efficiency and reducing the cost of capitalSupport the development of financial and capital forecasting models, including capital ratios, RWAs, funding requirements, and KPIs under base and stress scenariosAssist with budgeting and medium-term financial planning, ensuring alignment with capital strategy, balance-sheet growth, and regulatory requirementsPrepare analysis to support senior-management decisions on capital allocation, dividend policy, and strategic initiativesSupport share buy-back programmes, treasury-share tracking, reporting tools, and performance analyticsMonitor shareholder-return metrics, including Return on Equity (ROE), and support employee share-based remuneration initiativesConduct peer benchmarking, market scanning, competitor analysis, and research into capital-market and funding trendsPrepare accurate presentations, briefing packs, and financial information for investor meetings, roadshows, investment banks, and institutional investorsCoordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure data integrity, clear communication, and timely delivery of capital-related initiativesWhat are you expected to bring?At least 4 years' experience in capital management, financial planning, investment banking, or a related area within banking or financial services, together with an MQF Level 5 qualification in Accountancy, Economics, Banking, or Investment Services; orAt least 5 years' relevant experience within banking or financial services; orAt least 2 years' relevant experience together with an MQF Level 6 Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Economics, Banking, or Investment ServicesCandidates with fewer years of experience may be considered if they hold a higher relevant postgraduate qualificationStrong analytical, numerical, reporting, and financial-modelling skillsA proactive, responsible, and collaborative approach, with the ability to work accurately under deadlinesStrong communication skills and an interest in capital markets, financial strategy, and investor relationsA commitment to integrity, sound judgement, ethical conduct, and effective risk managementWhat's in it for you?Additional annual leave over and above the statutory entitlement, including Bank HolidaysFree basic health insuranceRelocation assistance for international candidatesAccredited training and professional development programmes through an internal learning academyStudy leave to support further education and professional qualificationsPreferential staff home loan rates and reduced-interest financial productsVoluntary Occupational Pension Scheme (VOPS)Children's summer school allowanceThe opportunity to work for an Equal Opportunities EmployerLong-term career development within a leading financial services organisationApply today or get in touch for a confidential discussion to learn more about this opportunity.
