Senior Analyst -Commercial Audit- UAE National

A confidential Government Entity in Abu Dhabi is seeking a highly capable Senior Analyst – Commercial Audit to join its Audit & Compliance function.The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting audits across procurement, contracts, commercial activities, and financial compliance, with a focus on ensuring transparency, efficiency, regulatory compliance, and effective risk management across capital projects.Key Responsibilities• Conduct audits of procurement processes, supplier selection, contract formation, and contract administration.• Develop audit plans, including scope, objectives, and methodologies.• Assess compliance with financial regulations, government requirements, and internal policies.• Review commercial contracts for legal, regulatory, and policy compliance.• Identify financial, procurement, and compliance risks and recommend mitigation actions.• Prepare comprehensive audit reports and maintain records of findings and corrective actions.• Provide practical recommendations to improve procurement and contract management processes.• Communicate audit findings and recommendations to relevant stakeholders.• Keep up to date with regulatory changes, audit methodologies, and industry best practices.Candidate Requirements🇦🇪 UAE National – Mandatory🎓 Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.💼 Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in financial auditing, preferably within procurement, contracts, commercial audit, or compliance.Key Skills• Strong knowledge of audit methodologies and risk assessment• Understanding of financial regulations and government requirements• Strong analytical and critical-thinking abilities• Excellent attention to detail• Strong written and verbal communication skills• Ability to analyze procurement and commercial contracts• CIA / CPA or equivalent professional certification is an advantagePlease note: This is a confidential recruitment opportunity.
