Confidential Government Entity | Abu Dhabi, UAEA leading government entity in Abu Dhabi is seeking a highly motivated Senior Analyst – Commercial Initiatives to support the development and execution of commercial and financial initiatives related to major capital projects and infrastructure development.The successful candidate will support commercial strategy, financial analysis, market research, project budgeting, and stakeholder engagement, while providing data-driven insights to support informed decision-making and the development of future commercial initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct gap analyses to identify gaps and opportunities in existing processes, practices, and commercial activities.Support the development and implementation of commercial initiatives and strategies aligned with organizational objectives.Conduct financial analysis to assess the feasibility of proposed initiatives, including cost-benefit analysis, financial projections, and risk assessments.Conduct market research and analyze market trends, economic conditions, and industry developments relevant to capital projects and commercial opportunities.Support the development and monitoring of project budgets and expenditures to ensure alignment with approved budgets.Assist in drafting, reviewing, and managing contracts related to capital projects and commercial initiatives.Prepare reports, presentations, analysis, and recommendations for senior management, stakeholders, and executive committees.Use data and analytical tools to provide insights into the commercial and financial performance of projects and initiatives.Engage with internal and external stakeholders to understand requirements, address concerns, and identify opportunities for future initiatives.Collaborate with government entities, project developers, financial partners, and other stakeholders as required.Support the coordination, documentation, scheduling, and administrative requirements associated with commercial initiatives.Monitor relevant regulations, industry developments, market trends, and best practices to identify potential opportunities and risks.Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and provide recommendations to enhance commercial and financial outcomes.Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Engineering, or a related field.Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in commercial analysis, financial analysis, business initiatives, project development, strategy, or a related discipline.Experience within government, infrastructure, capital projects, consulting, finance, or a similar environment is preferred.Strong understanding of market trends, economic analysis, financial principles, and commercial practices.Knowledge of public policy, regulations, and administrative processes.Experience in financial modelling, cost-benefit analysis, budgeting, and financial projections is an advantage.Exposure to contract management and capital project environments is preferred.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Arabic and English.Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other data analysis and reporting tools.Key SkillsCommercial AnalysisFinancial AnalysisMarket ResearchFinancial ModellingBusiness AnalysisCost-Benefit AnalysisBudget ManagementProject Financial AnalysisContract ManagementData AnalysisGap AnalysisStrategic PlanningStakeholder ManagementReport & Presentation DevelopmentEconomic AnalysisProject ManagementGovernment & Regulatory AffairsMicrosoft Excel & PowerPointKey CompetenciesBuilds CapabilityActs with AgilityDrives EfficienciesDigital DexterityService ExcellenceEngages OthersHarnesses DataDelivery FocusedCandidate ProfileWe are looking for a UAE National with strong analytical, commercial, and financial capabilities who is comfortable working with complex information and multiple stakeholders.The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, commercial awareness, structured problem-solving skills, and the ability to develop clear insights and recommendations to support senior-level decision-making.Role InformationLocation: Abu Dhabi, UAEEmployment Level: Senior AnalystSector: Capital Projects / Infrastructure / CommercialEmployment Type: Full-timeNationality: UAE Nationals OnlyPlease note: This is a confidential opportunity with a government entity in Abu Dhabi.
