Senior Analyst/ConsultantLocation: Remote / On-site UAEType: Full-time, PermanentABOUT THE ROLEWe are seeking a Senior Analyst/Consultant to join our growing remote team, working across the full analytics lifecycle - data pipeline development, modelling, insight generation, and client-facing project management.You'll work alongside our team and client stakeholders to turn business questions into analytical solutions, keep delivery on track, and help organizations get more out of their data. You'll gain exposure to a range of industries and data environments, with support from senior team members as you take on more ownership over time.WHAT YOU'LL WORK ONThe role spans the full analytics lifecycle, and you'll sit between the analysts building the work and the stakeholders relying on it. Day to day, that means:Scoping - gathering technical requirements from client stakeholders, translating them into a clear analytical problem, and breaking that down into tasks across the teamIngestion and integration - bringing data together from multiple source systems and keeping it consistent and reliableTransformation and modelling - building and optimizing pipelines and well-structured datasets, and troubleshooting issues end-to-end when they surfaceAnalysis - applying statistical and analytical techniques to surface trends, patterns, and opportunitiesReporting and visualization - building dashboards across BI platforms and communicating clearly what the data showsReview and iteration - walking stakeholders through the output and refining it based on feedbackDelivery and coordination - planning timelines with a small team of analysts, consolidating progress into regular client updates, managing expectations on scope and feasibility, and flagging risks earlySKILLS & QUALIFICATIONSMust-have:Prior experience in a consulting or client-service environmentStrong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote settingComfortable working with stakeholders to understand what they need and turn it into a practical planSolid SQL skills, with the ability to work confidently in at least one cloud data warehouse (e.g. Snowflake, BigQuery, or similar)Working knowledge of Python for data analysis and transformationExperience with at least one modern BI/visualization tool (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, Looker, GoodData)Experience with data ingestion/ELT tools and pipeline concepts (e.g. Fivetran-style ingestion, transformation layers, orchestration)Clear communicator who can explain technical work to non-technical audiencesBachelor's degree or higher in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field2-6 years of experience in data analytics, data engineering, or related rolesNice to have:Comfort working with billing/financial datasets and recurring revenue metrics (MRR/ARR, new customers, churn)Interest in growing into a delivery-lead role, or experience coordinating other analystsExperience with modern data stack tooling: transformation (dbt), ingestion/ELT (Fivetran, Stitch), cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Azure, BigQuery, Redshift, Databricks/PySpark), and BI/visualization (Power BI, Looker, GoodData, Tableau)Exposure to advanced analytics or machine learning techniquesWHY JOIN FUNCTION GROUP ANALYTICS?Real ownership of your work, with room to grow into client and delivery leadershipWork on diverse, high-impact analytics projects across industriesOpportunity to grow across analytics, engineering, and client project managementCollaborative and supportive remote consulting team
