Senior Analyst - Credit Research

Job Summary Evalueserve is looking for high-potential finance professionals who are passionate about equity research, financial analysis, and investment decision-making. This is an ideal opportunity for candidates seeking a challenging and rewarding career in investment research within a fast-paced, global environment.Key Responsibilities Responsible for credit analysis using credit metrics (liquidity, coverage, solvency etc.)Creating and maintaining excel based financial models with forecasts and benchmarking companies on financial and operating metricsResponsible for building detailed financial models that include industry research, capital structure analysis, peers’ comparison, and recovery analysisIncorporate acquisition/merger announcements (merger models) or long-term business plan projections in the existing model of the portfolio companiesReviewing credit agreements and bond indentures for the covenant package and incorporating them in models for covenant testingPublishing quarterly and annual write-ups on portfolio companies that includes investment recommendations based on past trends and financial model projectionsExplaining the rationale to clients/onshore team behind industry drivers, company KPIs, business strategy, model assumptions, and investment recommendationsExtensive company valuation involves approaches such as DCF, DDM, Trading and transaction multiples, etc.Listening to and summarizing earnings conference calls on a quarterly basisResponsible for writing credit reviews, including Credit Ratios Analysis, Covenant Analysis, Capital Structure Analysis Credit Comparable to Impact of Macro factors (Economy, Industry) and qualitative factors including Business/Asset Quality, Management etc. on the creditworthiness of a company, Credit Comparable, Impact of Macro factors (Economy, Industry) and qualitative factors including Business/Asset Quality, Management etc. on the creditworthiness of a company o Identifying credit strengths and weaknessesWriting sector summariesPreparation of financial models using financial statements, debt schedule, and financial forecast Extraction of debt related information, e.g. price, maturity, Yield, Z-spread, CDS etc. from databaseRequired Qualifications Excellent understanding of credit research conceptsExperience with financial modeling and writing credit reports is preferableComfort with databases like Bloomberg, Capital IQ etc.Excellent communication skills; Experience in handling client calls and other client communicationExcellent attention to detail with ability to ensure high quality deliverablesAbility to work under pressure and manage strict deadlinesMBA with 3-5 years of related experienceWe value candidates who combine strong financial acumen and investment judgment with a curiosity for emerging technologies that enhance research quality, efficiency, and decision-making.
