Reporting to the Director, FP&A, this position will support company-wide budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes while providing analysis and recommendations to drive business performance.This role is designed for an experienced, hands-on financial professional who can quickly become a subject matter expert. The Senior Analyst will partner cross-functionally to deliver high-quality analysis, maintain financial models, and enhance planning tools and processes. The ideal candidate will have strong modeling skills, exceptional attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.Principal Duties and Responsibilities Support the development, maintenance, and enhancement of financial forecasts, budgets, and long-term plansPerform financial modeling and scenario analysis to evaluate business performance, trends, and risksConduct variance analysis against budgets, forecasts, and prior periods; clearly explain key drivers and insightsPrepare recurring and ad-hoc financial reports and dashboards for management reviewPartner with business leaders and finance colleagues to provide analytical support and ensure financial alignmentAssist in improving forecasting models, planning tools, and processes to enhance accuracy and efficiencySupport the annual planning cycle and monthly forecast updates across departmentsCollaborate with accounting and operations teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and data integrityProvide financial support for strategic initiatives, special projects, and investment analysesDevelop subject matter expertise in key financial drivers, systems, and business processesExperience and Education Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field4–6+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, corporate finance, or related rolesStrong financial modeling and Excel skills requiredProficiency in SQL and experience navigating data warehouses to extract, manipulate, and analyze large datasetsExperience with financial planning tools preferredFamiliarity with BI/reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)Experience in a high-growth, multi-location, or operationally complex environment preferredRequired Skills and Abilities Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skillsExcellent attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate, high-quality work under tight deadlinesEffective communication and presentation skills; able to convey complex financial concepts clearlyProactive and curious mindset with a drive to understand underlying business dynamicsAbility to work independently and collaboratively across teams and functionsCommitment to continuous improvement of tools, processes, and analysis qualityBenefits Summary High quality voluntary health, vision, disability, life, and dental insurance programs401K Matching PlanEmployee Stock Purchase PlanPaid holidays, vacation, and sick leaveCorporate sponsored programs to enhance employee physical, financial, mental and emotional wellnessFinancial Solution ProgramEqual Employment Opportunity:Goosehead is an equal opportunity employer and complies with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, rules, guidelines, and regulations.
