Senior Analyst – Market Research & Business Intelligence (Hybrid / CDMX)Location: Mexico City Metropolitan Area (Hybrid / Remote-first)Base Compensation: $40,000 gross monthly base (Fixed salary, non-commissioned)Schedule: Shifted schedule aligned to Americas business hours (approx. 8 AM – 5 PM CDMX time)About the Opportunity:Our client is a global leader in business intelligence, practice-area research, and industry rankings trusted by international organizations and professional service firms worldwide. Backed by private equity and undergoing rapid expansion, they are establishing their first-ever regional research hub in Latin America.As a Senior Research Analyst, you'll lead research execution across an assigned set of jurisdictions and practice areas, producing high-quality analysis of law firm submissions, practitioner interviews, and survey data that feeds directly into market-leading rankings, editorial insight, and awards decisions. You'll work with genuine autonomy — owning your corner of the market — while also shaping the quality and consistency of a small team's day-to-day output.Key Responsibilities:Lead comprehensive market research and competitive analysis across your assigned jurisdictions and practice areas, using submissions, interviews, survey data, and independent sources.Interview practice heads and senior practitioners, building lasting relationships with market participants.Prepare evidence-based ranking proposals and awards recommendations for review and sign-off.Own the day-to-day quality of a small team's workflows, trackers, and deadlines, with informal mentoring of junior colleagues.Produce clear research summaries, briefings, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.Contribute to the wider strategy as the business expands its research coverage into new markets.Candidate Profile:Experience: 3 to 4+ years in market research, competitive intelligence, business journalism, public relations, KPO/LPO, or a similar analytical role. (A legal background is NOT required — we prioritize intellectual curiosity and analytical drive).Stakeholder Engagement: Proven experience directly interviewing, communicating with, and gathering insights from senior stakeholders.Languages:English: Excellent written and spoken English is mandatory (C1/C2).Spanish: Native or fluent Spanish.Portuguese: A strong plus.Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in MS Excel for data tracking and workflow management.
