The Senior Analyst and Training Coordinator is ahybrid role that covers Senior Behavior Analyst and Regional Clinical Training Coordinators.Senior Analyst and Training Coordinators oversee all trainings that take place within theregion. Additionally, Senior Analyst and Training Coordinators provide guidance andmentorship for other behavior analysts, licensed professionals without a BCBA certification,and program managers, providing guidance and feedback related to working collaborativelywith caregivers, completing assessments, designing and implementing comprehensivebehavior plans, collecting data to evaluate behavior change and achievement of quality oflife outcomes, and gradually reducing services as goals are achieved as well as assisting insupporting the professional development of contractors in their region through trainings, asstipulated by the Regional Coordinators and Clinical Directors.In addition to the Senior Analyst and Training Coordinator duties listed below, individuals inthis role must adhere to the description of behavior analysis services that is provided in thebehavior analyst service description. This is achieved through the process outlined in theprotocol checklist and components of the behavior support plan template. Senior Analystand Training Coordinators working with PBS Corp. are expected to abide by the policies andprocedures set forth by the organization and in accordance with the employee agreement.Major Duties: Senior Analyst and Training Coordinators are responsible for providingoversight for new BCBAs that are new to PBS Corp., BCBAs within 3 years of being certified(level 2); BCaBAs (level 3); licensed mental health counselors, licensed clinical social workers,and licensed psychologists that do not have BCBA certification; and program managers.Additionally, Senior Analyst and Training Coordinators are responsible for providingoversight to any graduate or undergraduate students seeking board certification in theirregion, organization and implementation of CEU events, and any other clinical training asdetermined necessary by the Regional Coordinator. Additionally, study sessions targeting theBACB task list are held as needed face-to-face or online for their regions to facilitate groupsupervision. They meet with their regional team regularly for check-ins, meet biweekly withregional leaders (meeting targeted for the Senior Behavior Analyst and Regional ClinicalTraining Coordinators groups), and meet monthly with regional team for leadershipmeetings to review regional performance metrics and progress towards path goals.
Responsibilities
Senior Analyst and Training Coordinators working with PBS Corp. are required to meet all the responsibilities of other behavior analysts, as well as do the following: Training Coordinator 1. Explain BACB experience standards and PBS Corp. mentoring program requirements to participants, including requirements of supervisors and responsibilities of supervisees.2. Maintain Student Analyst Dashboard across regions assigned.3. Coordinate, facilitate, and maintain documentation for mentoring meetings, study sessions, and homework assignments related to the mentoring program, to include entering meetings on the training calendar at least one month in advance.4. Coordinate, facilitate, maintain, and create (as needed) documentation and power points for CEU events and clinical trainings and enter on the training calendar at least one month in advance.5. Manage on-line course sequences (to include: review of all participant activities, answering questions related to quizzes, and assistance with technological issues; monitoring progress of learners [expectation to complete within 30 days] and encouraging as needed).6. Conduct and/or facilitate initial and renewal Competency Assessments across region(s).7. Provide ongoing oversight, coordination, and training for all field supervisors who are assigned students and ensure each field supervisor is aware of and capable of meeting the requirements per the BACB, PBS Corp, and relevant state standards. This includes ensuring that field supervisors are implementing and monitoring requirements with fidelity.8. Provide supervision to any student for whom you are a field supervisor in accordance with PBS Corp., BACB, and relevant state requirements.9. Conduct mentoring meetings [A1] using PBS Corp. mentoring curriculum both online and face-to-face at 4 times per month in a small group setting (at least 2 meetings held at different times of the day bi-weekly for a total of at least 4 meetings per month on 2 different topics).10. Guide participants to complete required paperwork in accordance with BACB Supervision and Experience requirements (i.e., supervision contract, experience and supervision forms, activity logs). 11. Check emails and voicemail daily, log onto PBS Live daily, and respond to all students, colleagues, potential and currently community partners, and supervisors within 48 hours of receipt of communication.12. Collaborate and build relationships with local universities to identify potential mentoring program participants, share information, and improve the effectiveness of the program.13. Utilize Student Analyst Clinical Competencies to ensure students are progressing through Student Analyst Tier System.14. Follow the process outlined within the Clinical Excellence Review and Planning tool for all site visits. The tool should be completed and submitted to the RC following the site visit as well as communication to the behavior team debriefing them from the site visit (i.e., behavior team chat, email, phone).Senior Analyst:1. Review/approve* behavior intervention plans submitted by analysts within region(s) supported (within 2 business days) for clinical quality prioritizing plans based on authorization end date. Initial review should be thorough enough to allow for analyst to make required changes needed to gain approval from funder and should not exceed 2 exchanges between author and reviewer.2. Conduct initial assessments (minimum of 2) monthly.3. Complete behavior plan updates and monthly graphing (i.e., all indirect services) for insurance cases when a BCaBA or program manager is assigned to the client without a BCBA. 4. Provide ongoing supervision for other behavior analysts, licensed professionals without BCBA certification, and program managers in accordance with PBS Corp., BACB and state requirements. 1. This includes: 1. Reviewing and providing feedback on behavior intervention plans, updates, and reports to include signing off on all plans and reports. 2. Analyzing data to ensure appropriate measurement procedures and track client progress. 3. Observing hands-on implementation of behavioral interventions and providing feedback.4. Reviewing caregiver surveys and quality of life assessments to assess impact of services.5. Ensure quality services for all clients by conducting in-person site visits at least one time per authorization period.6. Coordinate and meet at least bimonthly with Regional Coordinator on activities related to plan reviews, clinical issues, family issues, and analyst support.7. Assist the regional coordinator in identifying training needs and providing workshops for behavior analysts.8. Assist behavior analysts in troubleshooting on difficult cases, including helping to engage caregivers.9. Document client and staff interactions on their respective notes tab in client/user form.10. Other duties as assigned.Physical Requirements: 1. Desk & Administrative / Supervisory Roles
- Sitting & Desk Work: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Light Lifting: Ability to lift up to 15 to 25 pounds occasionally (e.g., carrying a laptop, client binders, or testing materials).
- Communication & Tech: Frequent use of fine finger dexterity (typing, data entry) and ability to regularly hear and speak clearly for virtual meetings, training, and client debriefs.2. Direct Care & Field/Clinic-Based Roles
- Active Movement: Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, or sitting on the floor to engage with clients during therapy or site visits.
