Our client is on the cutting edge of building robust data infrastructure, empowering decision-making across the business. You will have the opportunity to significantly influence how data is modeled, governed, and utilized at scale during a transformative phase of growth.What You Will DoArchitect and own end-to-end data models and ELT pipelines that cater to analytical and operational requirements across the organization.Build and maintain modular, well-documented dbt projects, ensuring effective transformation layers are deployed.Design and optimize data models within cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift, focusing on performance and cost efficiency.Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, product managers, and business stakeholders to define metrics and deliver trusted data products.Establish best practices for data quality, testing, documentation, and pipeline observability to enhance data governance.Ideal Candidate Background5–8+ years of hands-on experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, or data architecture.Advanced proficiency in SQL and a strong understanding of Python for data transformation and pipeline development.Proven experience with dbt and building modern ELT pipelines from start to finish in production environments.Practical experience with at least one major cloud data warehouse: Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift.Strong communication skills to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.PreferredExperience in direct-to-consumer (D2C), consumer technology, or subscription-based business models.Background in data governance frameworks, data quality processes, and defining canonical metrics.Passion for mentoring junior analytics engineers and elevating team capabilities.Compensation and BenefitsThis role offers competitive compensation, including equity options, and a commitment to work-life balance with a sustainable pace of approximately 40 hours per week.
