We're seeking an experienced Android Developer to join our dynamic team and take our mobile applications to the next level. You will design, develop, collaborate, and continue to innovate our existing product by gathering requirements, building prototypes and quickly demonstrating new features and product ideas.What you will do:Contribute to architectural decisions, design patterns, and best practices. As a senior member of the team, your insights will shape the app's foundationWrite clean, efficient, and maintainable code. Advise other developers and instill a culture of code quality and craftsmanshipCollaborate with backend developers, designers, product owners to constantly improve user experience and functionalitiesOptimize app performance, from UI responsiveness to memory management. Ensure a seamless experience for our usersStay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and OS advancements. Propose innovative solutions to enhance our apps, including technical specifications and user guidesWhat we seek:5+ years of experience in native Android DevelopmentProficient in Kotlin, Java (C++, Rust, JavaScript/TypeScript & Kotlin Multiplatform are a plus)Robust knowledge of multi-threading concepts, queues, collections, dispatchers, thread-pools and garbage collectors is a mustStrong understanding of MVVM architecture, Kotlin Coroutines and familiarity with Jetpack compose is requiredExperience in writing Unit Tests and Instrumentation/UI testsExperience in developing large-scale mobile applications serving diverse global regions is a plusKnowledge of configuring secure app network connections and ensuring secure storage of sensitive dataAttention to detail and a commitment to delivering polished, bug-free code that sets the standard for the teamExcellent communication and collaboration abilities while being a team playerMay require availability outside regular office hours for addressing production issues or implementing hotfixes as needed.Proficient in written and spoken EnglishProficiency in managing GPS data, geofencing, location-based features, and map integrations is a valuable assetAbility to communicate in Chinese and Mandarin will be a plus
