Senior Android Developer III

We are looking for a seasoned Senior Android Developer III to join our mobile development team and play a key role in enhancing and evolving a large-scale existing Android application.The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Kotlin, Android SDKs, and Android APIs across multiple OS versions, along with a proven track record of developing, modernizing, and supporting complex mobile applications.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, test, and deploy new features for an existing Android application.Develop clean, scalable, and maintainable Kotlin code using modern Android practices.Work extensively with Android SDKs and APIs across multiple OS versions.Analyze and optimize application performance, stability, and responsiveness.Contribute to Android architecture and technical strategy.Integrate mobile applications with RESTful APIs and backend services.Implement asynchronous data handling and reliable application behavior.Participate in code reviews and promote engineering best practices.Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, backend engineers, and other stakeholders.Support CI/CD processes and source code management using Git.Mentor junior and mid-level developers and contribute to technical excellence.Required Qualifications5+ years of professional Android development experience.Strong proficiency in Kotlin.Deep understanding of Android SDKs and APIs across different OS versions.Experience developing and supporting large-scale Android applications with complex architectures.Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming and software design patterns.Experience with RESTful APIs, HTTP, and asynchronous data handling.Strong understanding of Android application performance and optimization.Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.Strong communication and collaboration skills.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.Nice-to-HaveJetpack Compose experience.Experience modernizing or enhancing existing Android applications.Experience contributing to mobile architecture and technical strategy.Experience working closely with UI/UX and product teams.Experience mentoring junior and mid-level Android developers.Banking or financial services experience is a plus.Must-Have SkillsAndroid SDKsAndroid APIsKotlin
