Senior Android Engineer – Ambitious Start-Up – London (Hybrid)The JobWe're looking for a Senior Android Engineer to join a very ambitious growth start-up who are building an AI-first platform. They are well funded, packed with talent and have a clear path to becoming an international product scaling across multiple markets. You'll play a key role in designing, building, and scaling the Android platform, helping to develop mobile products from the ground up. This is a hands-on role where you'll contribute to architecture, feature development, and platform improvements while working closely with the Senior Leadership team .You'll have the opportunity to influence engineering standards, mobile development practices, and user experience while building scalable, high-quality applications for a growing business.About YouYou'll be an experienced Android Engineer with strong hands-on experience of:Kotlin & Jetpack ComposeMVVM ArchitectureModular Mobile Application DesignREST APIs and Real-Time Data IntegrationPlay Store Releases and Mobile CI/CDPerformance Optimisation and Application ScalabilityYou'll also have:A proven track record of taking products from concept through to Play Store launchStrong software engineering and problem-solving capabilitiesExperience building consumer-facing productsExcellent communicationThe ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the wider engineering teamYou will stand out if you have experience within:Fast-paced start-up or scale-up environmentsReal-time consumer platformsThe CompanyThis business is a brand-new, fast-growing, and well-backed pre-seed-funded start-up founded by an experienced leadership team with highly ambitious international growth plans.
