Senior Android Engineer

We're looking for an experienced Senior Android Platform Engineer to support Android engineering initiatives across platform development, AI enablement, and federated team collaboration. This role offers the opportunity to work on shared mobile capabilities, architectural improvements, and cross-functional engineering projects that impact multiple products and teams.Must-Have Skills & Experience:Proven commercial experience in Android development.Strong proficiency in Kotlin.Hands-on experience with Jetpack Compose.Strong understanding of Android SDK and Android application architecture.Experience working with XML layouts and maintaining legacy Android codebases.Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated software delivery practices.Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple engineering teams and projects.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Nice-to-Have Experience:Experience working within a platform engineering environment.Exposure to supporting multiple products, features, or federated engineering teams.Experience with Android architecture modernization initiatives.Knowledge of navigation framework upgrades and mobile platform evolution.Experience leading or coordinating cross-team technical initiatives.Familiarity with observability, monitoring, or shared platform capabilities.Experience working in Agile environments and modern software development lifecycles.
