We're looking for candidates who are passionate about technology, proficient in English, and excited to engage in remote collaboration for a worldwide presence.About The RoleWe are looking for an experienced Senior Android Engineer to join a cloud-native engineering team working on modern, customer-facing mobile applications and digital experiences.This is a hands-on engineering role combining deep native Android development expertise with AWS cloud technologies, modern application architecture, CI/CD, testing, and direct customer collaboration.You will work alongside Engineers, Architects, Engineering Managers, and Project Managers to design and deliver high-quality solutions for complex mobile initiatives. The role requires strong software engineering fundamentals, the ability to build and maintain production-ready Android applications, and confidence working directly with customer engineering teams.The ideal candidate brings deep Kotlin and native Android expertise, strong knowledge of application design and development patterns, AWS experience, and the communication skills required to succeed in a consulting and client-facing environment.

Responsibilities

Design, build, maintain, and enhance production-grade native Android applicationsDevelop high-quality mobile solutions primarily using Kotlin and modern Android development practicesCollaborate with Architects and Engineering Managers to translate technical requirements into scalable solutionsApply appropriate application architecture, software design patterns, and engineering best practicesIntegrate mobile applications with APIs, cloud services, SDKs, and external platformsContribute to mobile initiatives involving tracking, attribution, deep linking, in-app experiences, and customer journey optimizationWrite production-ready, well-tested, maintainable, and documented codeBuild and maintain automated testing for mobile applicationsContribute to and maintain CI/CD pipelines supporting Android application deliveryWork with AWS services and cloud-native architectures supporting mobile applicationsTroubleshoot and resolve technical issues across development, staging, and production environmentsParticipate in Agile ceremonies including daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and demosCollaborate directly with customer engineering teams and clearly communicate technical decisions, progress, risks, and trade-offsContribute to continuous improvement of development practices, architecture, and delivery processesContinuously optimize and improve the user experience of our mobile applications

Requirements
