Senior Android Engineer (Kotlin), EV Charging, London HybridWe’re hiring a Senior Android Engineer for one of the UK’s fastest-growing EV charging networks: thousands of public chargers going live with councils across the country, all running on 100% renewable energy.You’ll own Android in a two-person mobile team, working alongside a senior iOS engineer, on the app drivers use to find, start and pay for a charge. When it works, a car charges. When it doesn’t, someone is standing at a charger in the rain. That’s the job.Lots of cross platform development and a chance to work with KMP.What you’ll build next

• Plug & Charge: the car identifies itself and pays, with no app needed
• Charger reservations
• New payment methods
• Support for new hardware as the network expands into new citiesWhat you’ll need
• Strong Kotlin and Jetpack Compose in production (KMP is a big plus)
• Ownership from architecture through to the Play Store
• Bonus: Bluetooth or IoT, connected devices, payments, or anything where your code talks to hardwareThe setup
• A tech team of about 16, where engineers have grown into squad leads within a year
• Hybrid: about two days a week in London, normal hours
