Senior Android / Kotlin Multiplatform Engineer, ref: 1652

We are currently seeking a talented Senior Android / Kotlin Multiplatform Engineer on behalf of one of our major clients in the Energy sector.

Location: Athens, GreeceWorking model: hybridSalary range: 3400 – 3800 euros gross Your responsibilities will entail:Own, develop, and maintain the Android application and shared KMP business logic layer;Design and implement shared KMP modules including network services, API clients, and business logic;Build and maintain Android UI using Jetpack Compose with MVVM architecture and Hilt dependency injection;Collaborate with backend teams on API contracts and OpenAPI specifications;Integrate mobile applications with backend microservices via REST APIs using Azure API Management;Implement authentication flows using MSAL and Azure Entra External ID based on OAuth 2.0 and OIDC;Manage Firebase services including Analytics, Crashlytics, and Cloud Messaging;Write and maintain unit tests, UI tests, and integration tests;Ensure GDPR compliance by maintaining consent management integrations (OneTrust or similar);Develop and maintain WebView-based flows such as payments and identity verification, including secure auth token injection;Support and enhance Android CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps;Ensuring that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements and supporting the continued implementation of the Group Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy.

RequirementsUniversity degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field;Strong proficiency in Kotlin;Experience with Kotlin Multiplatform including shared modules, expect/actual, Coroutines, and Flow;Solid experience in Android development using Jetpack Compose and MVVM architecture;Hands-on experience with Hilt dependency injection;Experience with Ktor HTTP client and kotlinx.serialization;Familiarity with MSAL and authentication using OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect;Experience integrating Firebase services on Android including Analytics, Crashlytics, and FCM;Understanding of Android security best practices including secure token storage with Android Keystore;Experience with Gradle Kotlin DSL and dependency management using version catalogs;Proficiency with Android Studio, debugging tools, and performance profiling;Experience building and testing Android applications using MockK, Espresso, and Compose UI testing;Experience generating API clients from OpenAPI specifications;Experience working in an Agile environment; Nice to HaveExperience with consent management platforms such as OneTrust;Familiarity with GraphQL and headless CMS platforms such as Sitecore XM Cloud;Experience working with Android WebView for complex integrations;Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and release processes in Azure DevOps;Experience contributing to shared SDKs or cross-platform mobile architectures;Familiarity with Azure DevOps.
