Employment Type: Full-timePathfinder is seeking an experienced Senior Angular Developer to help modernize our established enterprise software, transitioning its frontend from Oracle Forms to Angular while retaining our existing Oracle Database and database-side business logic.Our internal team will continue to manage the existing Oracle Forms environment and PL/SQL logic.

The successful candidate will focus on developing the new Angular frontend, implementing application functionality in JavaScript/TypeScript, and integrating the new interface with our existing database services and approved interfaces.We are looking for a technically strong, security-conscious professional who can work independently, write clean and maintainable code, and contribute to the long-term modernization of our software.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain a modern Angular frontend to replace existing Oracle Forms screens and workflows.Build responsive, user-friendly interfaces using Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS.Translate existing application functionality and business requirements into Angular components, services, and frontend logic.Implement the required application functionality in JavaScript/TypeScript while retaining existing database-side PL/SQL logic wherever appropriate.Integrate the Angular frontend with Oracle Database through approved APIs, backend services, or existing database interfaces.Collaborate with our existing Oracle Forms and database team to understand application workflows and ensure functional consistency during migration.Implement form validations, data handling, error handling, navigation, and user interactions.Write clean, modular, reusable, and well-documented code.Follow secure coding practices and company-controlled source-code management procedures.Test, debug, optimize, and maintain the application throughout the migration process.Provide clear technical documentation and regular progress updates.Required Technical SkillsMinimum 6 years of professional software development experience, including substantial recent hands-on Angular development.Strong proficiency in Angular and TypeScript.Strong understanding of JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, and component-based application development.Experience integrating frontend applications with REST APIs and backend services.Experience with Git or equivalent version control systems.Good understanding of web application architecture, debugging, testing, performance optimization, and application security.Ability to work with an established enterprise application and modernize its frontend without unnecessarily disrupting existing backend functionality.Ability to understand technical requirements, work with an existing development team, and deliver independently.Experience migrating legacy enterprise applications to Angular.Experience working with Oracle-backed enterprise applications.Familiarity with database-driven applications and consuming data through APIs.Experience with large business applications such as ERP, logistics, freight forwarding, finance, or inventory management systems.Note: Deep PL/SQL development or Oracle Forms expertise is not a requirement for this role.
