Teams work on high-availability, complex environments for major ministries, regulators, banks, giga-projects, aviation operators, retail brands, and global enterprises.Role Description This is a full-time Senior Appian Developer role based in Medina with a hybrid work model that allows some work-from-home flexibility. The Senior Appian Developer will design, develop, and maintain Appian-based applications and workflows that support enterprise-grade digital solutions. Responsibilities include translating business requirements into scalable Appian designs, implementing integrations with external systems and APIs, and optimizing application performance and user experience. The role involves collaborating closely with business analysts, architects, QA engineers, and DevOps teams to ensure high-quality, secure, and maintainable implementations. The Senior Appian Developer will also participate in code reviews, mentor junior team members, contribute to Appian best practices and standards, and support production deployments and issue resolution.Qualifications Strong proficiency in Appian design and development, including process models, interfaces, records, data types, and Appian plugins.Experience integrating Appian with external systems and APIs using REST/SOAP services, web services, and related integration patterns.Solid understanding of software development practices, including SDLC, object-oriented concepts, and version control tools (e.g., Git).Hands-on experience with relational databases, SQL, and data modeling to support Appian applications.Background in performance tuning, troubleshooting, and optimizing Appian applications in complex environments.Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, gather and refine requirements, and translate functional needs into technical solutions.Familiarity with quality engineering practices, test automation concepts, and working closely with QA teams.Exposure to DevOps practices and tools (e.g., CI/CD pipelines, environment management) in support of Appian deployments is an advantage.Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; ability to document designs, technical decisions, and implementation details
