This role serves as a key liaison between business users, operational leadership, IT teams, and vendors, translating business requirements into effective technology solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyze, design, configure, test, implement, support, and optimize assigned healthcare applications and business processes.Lead quality assurance and complex integrated testing initiatives.Analyze business requirements, workflows, process maps, and future-state needs to develop effective application solutions.Perform gap analysis and provide recommendations across multiple applications.Work closely with stakeholders and operational leaders to standardize workflows and improve efficiency.Lead medium- to large-scale application projects with limited guidance.Develop and implement complex configurations and functionality based on end-user and business requirements.Troubleshoot and independently resolve application incidents and service requests.Coordinate application changes with vendors, technical teams, and internal stakeholders.Ensure all system changes follow established change-management, testing, approval, and validation processes.Identify dependencies between applications, infrastructure, and business operations.Provide project status updates, technical recommendations, and risk information to stakeholders.Support cross-application initiatives and high-impact vendor changes.Develop and review technical and user documentation.Assist with user and team training and serve as a knowledge resource and mentor to junior team members.Stay current with application capabilities, healthcare technology, industry practices, and emerging solutions.Support operational teams in implementing standardized best-practice workflows.RequirementsAssociate or bachelor's degree in healthcare, business, information systems, or a related field preferred.5+ years of experience in healthcare, business, information systems, or a related environment.Strong knowledge of healthcare operations, applications, and business workflows.Experience with application analysis, configuration, implementation, testing, and optimization.Strong project management and problem-solving skills.Ability to independently manage complex projects and requirements.Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Ability to translate complex technical information into clear, meaningful information for different audiences.Strong customer service and stakeholder management skills.Experience mentoring or supporting junior technical team members.Ability to work collaboratively across business, technical, and vendor teams.Relevant certifications in the area of specialization are preferred.Epic ExperienceFor Epic-focused roles, certification or proficiency in the assigned Epic module is required within six months of employment, with ongoing version training required to maintain certification or proficiency.Work ArrangementFull-time | 5 days per week, 8 hours per dayThe role may require additional hours during critical incidents and occasional travel to support business requirements.
