processes.The RoleWe are seeking an experienced Senior Arbitration Specialist to lead arbitration matters, dispute strategy, case management, claims analysis, legal research, evidence coordination, and arbitration-related advisory activities.The ideal candidate will support complex domestic and international arbitration proceedings, working closely with internal stakeholders, external counsel, experts, and arbitral institutions to develop effective case strategies, manage procedural requirements, analyze claims and evidence, and protect the organization's commercial and legal interests.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement arbitration and dispute-resolution strategies aligned with organizational objectives.Manage domestic and international arbitration matters from initial assessment through final resolution and enforcement.Assess potential disputes and determine appropriate arbitration, mediation, negotiation, litigation, or other dispute-resolution strategies.Review arbitration clauses, dispute-resolution provisions, governing-law clauses, jurisdiction provisions, and related contractual terms.Assess the validity, scope, and enforceability of arbitration agreements.Analyze contractual, commercial, factual, and legal issues relevant to arbitration matters.Conduct detailed legal and factual research relating to disputes and arbitration proceedings.Review claims, counterclaims, defenses, contractual obligations, and alleged breaches.Assess the strengths, weaknesses, risks, costs, and potential outcomes of arbitration matters.Develop case strategies and dispute-resolution plans in coordination with Legal leadership and external counsel.Coordinate the preparation of notices of arbitration, statements of claim, statements of defense, counterclaims, memorials, submissions, and other procedural documents.Review and organize pleadings, written submissions, witness statements, expert reports, exhibits, and supporting documentation.Coordinate evidence collection, preservation, review, organization, and production.Develop case chronologies, factual matrices, issue lists, evidence schedules, and hearing bundles.Coordinate document production and disclosure obligations in accordance with applicable arbitration rules and procedural orders.Review documentary evidence and identify material facts, inconsistencies, gaps, and relevant supporting information.Support witness identification, preparation, interviews, and statement development.Coordinate with internal witnesses, subject-matter experts, technical specialists, and external advisers.Manage expert evidence, including quantum, technical, engineering, accounting, valuation, and industry experts where relevant.Coordinate with external arbitration counsel and ensure effective management of case strategy and deliverables.Monitor external counsel performance, legal strategy, budgets, deadlines, and case outcomes.Liaise with arbitral institutions, tribunals, arbitrators, opposing counsel, experts, and other external parties as appropriate.Monitor procedural orders, directions, hearing schedules, filing deadlines, and tribunal requirements.Maintain comprehensive arbitration calendars and ensure all procedural deadlines are met.Prepare internal case-management plans covering responsibilities, timelines, evidence, submissions, hearings, risks, and costs.Support tribunal appointments, arbitrator selection, challenges, and related procedural matters.Conduct research relating to arbitrator backgrounds, expertise, experience, conflicts, and suitability where appropriate.Support preparation of submissions concerning jurisdiction, admissibility, interim measures, procedural issues, and other preliminary matters.Analyze jurisdictional and procedural challenges and coordinate appropriate responses.Support applications for interim relief, emergency measures, security for costs, preservation of evidence, or other procedural remedies where applicable.Assist with arbitration hearings, including preparation of hearing materials, witness coordination, exhibits, chronologies, and hearing logistics.Support counsel during hearings and maintain detailed records of procedural developments and tribunal directions.Coordinate post-hearing submissions, costs submissions, and responses to tribunal requests.Monitor arbitration awards and advise relevant stakeholders on implications, next steps, and potential remedies.Support applications for correction, interpretation, annulment, setting aside, or enforcement of arbitration awards where appropriate.Coordinate award enforcement activities with external counsel and relevant internal teams.Monitor developments in jurisdictions relevant to award recognition and enforcement.Support settlement negotiations and evaluate settlement proposals against litigation and arbitration risks.Prepare settlement analysis, risk assessments, financial evaluations, and management recommendations.Maintain dispute registers covering claims, counterclaims, arbitration proceedings, settlement discussions, awards, and enforcement actions.Monitor financial exposure associated with arbitration matters, including claims values, counterclaims, legal fees, expert costs, tribunal fees, and potential awards.Work with Finance to assess provisions, contingent liabilities, recoveries, and financial impacts of disputes.Support claims and quantum analysis using contracts, invoices, project records, financial information, and expert assessments.Work with Project, Commercial, Procurement, Finance, and Operations teams to gather relevant dispute information.Review project correspondence, contractual records, change orders, variations, notices, invoices, payment records, and performance documentation.Identify contractual and operational practices that may increase future dispute exposure.Develop lessons learned and preventive recommendations following arbitration matters.Support improvements to contract drafting, dispute-resolution clauses, claims procedures, and document-retention practices.Monitor emerging arbitration laws, procedural rules, institutional commercial disputes, dispute resolution, litigation support, claims management, or international commercial law, preferably within a multinational corporation, law firm, construction, engineering, energy, infrastructure, financial, real estate, or project-based environment.The candidate should demonstrate:Strong knowledge of domestic and international arbitration principles and procedures.Proven experience managing complex arbitration matters and dispute-resolution processes.Strong understanding of arbitration agreements, jurisdiction, governing law, and procedural
