Senior Architect

Role DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Senior Architect to lead the design and development of scalable, secure, and high-performing technology solutions that align with business objectives. The successful candidate will define system architecture, establish technical standards, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative and reliable solutions. This role is responsible for evaluating technologies, providing technical leadership, ensuring architectural governance, and driving best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.Key Responsibilities:Design and maintain enterprise and solution architecture for business applications.Define architectural standards, design principles, and technical roadmaps.Translate business requirements into scalable and maintainable technical solutions.Lead architecture reviews and provide technical guidance to development teams.Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend suitable solutions.Ensure system security, performance, scalability, availability, and maintainability.Collaborate with stakeholders to align technical strategies with business goals.Review application designs and ensure compliance with architecture standards.Support system integration, cloud adoption, and digital transformation initiatives.Identify technical risks and recommend mitigation strategies.Produce and maintain architecture documentation, technical specifications, and design artifacts.Promote best practices in software engineering, DevOps, and system governance.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture, solution architecture, and system design principles.Solid understanding of cloud architecture, microservices, APIs, distributed systems, and integration patterns.Familiarity with software development methodologies, SDLC, and DevOps practices.Knowledge of security architecture, performance optimization, scalability, and disaster recovery.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.Ability to lead technical discussions and provide architectural direction across teams.Familiarity with architecture frameworks such as TOGAF is an advantage.Relevant cloud or architecture certifications are an advantage.
