Senior Architectural Design EngineerJob OverviewFahad Al-Reshoodi Engineering Consulting Company is seeking an experienced Senior Architectural Design Engineer to join our Riyadh-based team.The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of professional experience in architectural design and engineering consultancy, with a strong track record of working on projects in Saudi Arabia and proven expertise in the Saudi Building Code (SBC), Saudi authority requirements, and local approval processes.The successful candidate will lead architectural design development, technical documentation, and multidisciplinary coordination while ensuring compliance with project requirements, Saudi regulations, and applicable engineering standards.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and oversee the development of architectural design concepts, detailed drawings, layouts, and technical documentation for various projects.Develop and review architectural designs from concept through detailed design and construction documentation.Review and coordinate design submissions to ensure compliance with the Saudi Building Code (SBC), Saudi authority requirements, and project standards.Coordinate with structural, MEP, interior design, and other engineering disciplines to ensure integrated and technically coordinated design solutions.Provide technical guidance and design support to project and site teams throughout the project lifecycle.Review shop drawings, material submittals, and technical documents when required.Conduct quality control reviews of architectural deliverables to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with project requirements.Prepare design reports, presentations, technical documentation, and project-related correspondence.Participate in design and coordination meetings with clients, consultants, contractors, and other project stakeholders.Support the resolution of technical and design-related issues during the design and construction phases.Coordinate with relevant Saudi authorities and support the preparation and submission of documents required for project approvals.Mentor junior architects and design engineers and provide technical guidance when required.Stay updated on the Saudi Building Code, Saudi municipality requirements, Civil Defense regulations, and other applicable Saudi standards and regulations.Qualifications & RequirementsBachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, or a related discipline.8+ years of relevant professional experience in architectural design and engineering consultancy.Proven experience working on projects in Saudi Arabia is required.Strong knowledge and practical application of the Saudi Building Code (SBC) are required.Previous experience with engineering consulting firms in Saudi Arabia or the GCC is highly preferred.Strong experience in architectural design, detailed design, construction documentation, and multidisciplinary coordination.Excellent proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, 3ds Max, and Adobe Creative Suite.Strong knowledge of architectural detailing, construction methods, materials, and building systems.Good understanding of Saudi authority requirements, Civil Defense regulations, municipality approvals, and relevant approval processes.Strong leadership, coordination, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Ability to manage multiple projects and deliverables while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced consulting environment.Fluent English is required; Arabic is preferred.Employment Details
