We are moving further into a Windows 11 and Microsoft Intune managed estate, reducing reliance on legacy endpoint tooling, and opening a new Technology Bar in our refurbished London office. We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Desktop Support Engineer to become the senior technical member of our London End User Computing team. This is more than a traditional desktop role: you will be the person the team turns to for complex escalations, practical judgement, coaching, technical standards and service improvement. The role combines hands-on support, endpoint engineering, technical leadership, hardware service capability and project contribution. It is ideal for someone who wants to influence how an End User Computing function operates rather than simply work through a ticket queue.What you will be doing: How you will spend your timeDesktop Support - 45% - Senior escalations point for Windows 11, Microsoft 365 collaboration technologies, meeting rooms, executive support and complex incidents.Endpoint Engineering - 25% - Intune, Autopilot, application development, endpoint compliance, hardware standards and device lifecycle management.Technology Leadership - 20% - Mentoring engineers, leading investigations, improving documentation, setting standards and acting as the senior technical voice of the team.Continuous improvements & innovation - 10% - Technology Bar development, automation of processes, Windows 11 rollout support, process optimization and measurable service improvements.What we are looking for: We are not looking for someone who only resolves individual tickets.
