Kindly note that this is a general talent pool and is not directly linked to an open requirement.If you are shortlisted for a position, our Talent Acquisition Team will reach out to guide you through our recruitment process.Education/Experience and Skills RequirementA degree in business/accounting/economics or a completed professional qualification such as CIMA, ACCA, or CA Sri Lanka; a full/part CFA qualification will be an added advantageThree to five years of work experience in a similar role in corporate loans or SME divisions of banks/financial institutionsFamiliarity with/expertise in a specific sector will be an added advantageComprehensive involvement in processing credit applications and monitoring loans on an ongoing basisExcellent understanding of the financial statements of corporatesKnowledge of AI capabilities and practical business applications is a plusResponsibilitiesSpreading financial statements of corporates in the client’s proprietary platformAnalysing financial statements of public and private companies as part of the credit appraisal processConducting background research independently to understand the particular drivers that guide the sectors in which the borrowers operateMonitoring covenants on a regular basis, performing validations and highlighting early warning signalsConducting written credit appraisals, finalising risk ratings, and preparing and writing narratives/credit notes for credit approvalCarrying out maintenance and process-driven tasks, and updating standard operating procedure (SOP) and other documentationSupporting ad hoc tasks and automation projectsChecking the quality of deliverables completed by juniors and peersMaintaining trackers and dashboardsCommunicating clearly and confidently with peers and clients – both in written and verbal form
