Senior Associate, Structured Finance, Investment Banking

Bank of China Limited, Singapore Branch ("BOCSG") is looking to hire a Senior Associate/Assistant Director for its Structured Finance Team, housed under the Investment Banking Department, as part of the branch’s Investment Banking Division (the "Division"). As junior staff, you will support the deal principals and senior staff of the Structured Finance team and of the Investment Banking Division in origination, structuring and execution across Project Finance, Structured Export Finance/ ECA, Leveraged Finance, Fund Finance and Syndication.As part of the Division's ambition in providing strategic advice across M&A, Capital Markets and Debt solutions to BOCSG’s highest tier of global clients across all sectors, the Structured Finance team drives event-driven, transformational, complex debt financing transactions.Job description- Assist to drive origination and execution of Project Financing, Structured Export Financing/ECA, Leveraged Finance, Fund Finance and Syndication.- Assist to oversee relevant portfolio and customer relationship on a daily basis.- Assist to structure and execute complex and large-scale financing solutions tailored to clients' needs, through partnering Corporate Banking RMs and Product teams- Assist to contribute to associated Financial Market hedging solutions as part of aforementioned transactions- Assist to partner advisory teams within the Division on thought-pieces (pitchbooks) for event driven ideas generated by IBD, comprising of integrated debt (bonds, loans), and hedging solutions- Assist to draw up term sheets, credit memos, financial modelling and info memos, periodic review of assigned portfolio, as well as the preparation and coordination of internal approval documents- Assist to actively manage the overall risk profile of assets throughout project life,including ongoing monitoring of client and project conditions, proactive risk identification, recommendation of risk mitigants, and management reporting- Support industry related research and strategy exercises such as development of new growth areas, country strategies and industry benchmarking- You will be provided with the opportunity to build on your existing knowledge of complex financial modelling- You will be provided with the opportunity to liaise with external and internal relevant stakeholders- Any other tasks assigned to youJob Requirement- Education: Bachelor's degree from a good university- >2 years of experience in Project Finance, Structured Export Finance/ ECA, Leveraged Finance, Fund Finance and/or Syndication- Worked alongside Investment Banking, Sector Coverage, Strategic Advisory, and/or Corporate Finance- Fundamental understanding and knowledge of Project Finance, Structured Export Finance/ ECA, Leveraged Finance, Fund Finance and/or Syndication- Experience in financial modelling, credit analysis, and valuations- Fluent in English with a strong preference for fluency in Mandarin (you will be required to liaise with clients/stakeholders based in Greater China)Competencies- Excellent analytical skills- Adaptable and resilient
