🗂 We’re Hiring: Senior Audio Visual Technician🕒 Employment Type: Full-Time💼 Level: Senior-LevelWe are seeking an experienced and technically skilled Senior Audio Visual Technician to oversee the setup, operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and technical support of professional audio-visual systems. This role will support corporate meetings, conferences, live events, presentations, hybrid events, and other AV productions while providing technical guidance to junior technicians. Senior AV roles commonly combine hands-on system operation, troubleshooting, event support, equipment management, and team coordination.🎯 Key Responsibilities• Lead the setup, operation, testing, and breakdown of professional audio-visual equipment and systems.• Configure and operate microphones, speakers, mixers, projectors, LED displays, cameras, lighting, video systems, and presentation equipment.• Provide technical support for conferences, meetings, live events, corporate presentations, and hybrid events.• Troubleshoot audio, video, signal, connectivity, and system-control issues during events and daily operations.• Perform routine inspections, testing, preventive maintenance, and system health checks on AV equipment.• Support video conferencing platforms and meeting room technologies such as Microsoft Teams Rooms and Zoom Rooms.• Coordinate AV requirements with clients, event organizers, internal teams, and external contractors.• Review event requirements and recommend appropriate AV equipment, configurations, and technical solutions.• Lead and coordinate junior AV technicians during installations, events, and technical assignments.• Maintain accurate records of AV equipment, asset inventories, configurations, maintenance, and service activities.• Ensure all AV equipment is properly handled, stored, transported, and secured.• Support installation, commissioning, upgrades, and integration of new AV systems.• Conduct technical testing and rehearsals before major events to ensure system reliability.• Maintain technical documentation, equipment setup procedures, troubleshooting guides, and system diagrams.• Provide technical training and guidance to junior technicians and other users.• Identify opportunities to improve AV systems, workflows, service quality, and operational efficiency.✅ Requirements• Proven experience as an Audio Visual Technician, AV Technician, Senior AV Technician, or similar technical role.• Strong hands-on experience with professional audio, video, lighting, conferencing, and presentation systems.• Good knowledge of signal flow, cabling, connectivity, system configuration, and AV troubleshooting.• Experience supporting live events, conferences, corporate meetings, or large-scale productions.• Familiarity with video conferencing platforms, LED displays, projection systems, digital signage, and integrated AV systems.• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to work effectively under pressure.• Experience leading or mentoring junior AV technicians is preferred.• Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.• Ability to interpret technical documentation, system diagrams, equipment specifications, and setup plans.• Knowledge of AV control systems, DSP, Crestron, Extron, Q-SYS, or similar platforms is an advantage.• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, or event-based schedules when required.• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.• Diploma, technical certification, or Bachelor’s degree in Audio Visual Technology, Electronics, IT, Engineering, Media Production, or a related field is preferred.🌟 What We Offer• Opportunity to work with professional AV systems and advanced event technologies.• Exposure to corporate events, conferences, hybrid meetings, live productions, and integrated AV environments.• Career progression into Lead AV Technician, AV Supervisor, AV Manager, Technical Production Manager, AV Project Manager, or Head of Audio Visual Services roles.• A dynamic, technical, and event-focused working environment.• Training, mentorship, and professional certification opportunities.• Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits package.
