Job Title: Senior Automotive Design Engineer (R&D) - DubaiCompany:* Leading Automobile Services & Vehicle Modification CompanyLocation:* Dubai, UAEExperience:* 6 – 10+ YearsSalary:* AED 4,000 – AED 5,000 per monthEmployment Type:* Full-timeWork Timing:* Monday to Saturday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM*Job Summary*We are seeking a highly skilled *Senior Automotive Design Engineer (R&D)* to join our growing vehicle modification and engineering team in Dubai. You will lead end-to-end design & development of custom vehicles, modifications, and upfitting projects from concept to production.*Key Responsibilities* *Design & Development*: Lead end-to-end automotive design and development projects for custom builds and vehicle modifications *Concept Design*: Develop concept designs with high-quality renders for client approvals and internal review *3D Modeling*: Create detailed 3D models, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings for sheet metal, structural components, and full vehicle assemblies *Product Lifecycle*: Manage full product lifecycle from concept → prototyping → production → testing *Design Validation*: Ensure design feasibility, manufacturability, compliance with UAE/GCC standards, and cost efficiency *Documentation*: Prepare and manage BOMs (Bill of Materials), technical documentation, ECNs, and design revisions *Cross-Team Coordination*: Work closely with production teams, fabrication workshops, and engineering departments to resolve technical issues *Mentorship*: Guide and mentor junior designers and engineers on best practices and design standards*Key Requirements* *Education*: B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical/Automobile Engineering or equivalent *Experience*: 6-10+ years in automotive design, vehicle modification/upfitting, and product development *Software Skills*: Advanced proficiency in SOLIDWORKS, AutoCAD, Geomagic Design, SketchUp *Technical Expertise*: Sheet metal design & fabrication processes Structural components & full assembly design Manufacturing feasibility & DFM/DFA principles Vehicle modification standards and compliance *Skills*: Strong leadership, project ownership, problem-solving, and ability to work under tight deadlines *Other*: GCC experience preferred.
