Senior AV Engineer

Job SummaryWe are seeking a qualified Senior AV Engineer to join our project supervision team for a high-profile 5-star hotel project in Dubai, UAE. The successful candidate will oversee and supervise the installation, testing, commissioning, and integration of Audio-Visual (AV) systems in accordance with approved drawings, project specifications, and applicable standards.This is a full-time, on-site role, working 6 days a week for our project in Dubai, UAE.Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Audio-Visual Engineering, or a related disciplineMinimum 10 years of experience in Audio-Visual systems and engineeringAt least 5 years of experience on hotel or hospitality projectsMinimum 3 years of UAE project experienceExperience with reputable regional or international consultancies (100+ staff) in the Middle East / GCCStrong technical expertise in professional AV systems, background music, public address, meeting/conference systems, digital signage, video walls, IPTV, video conferencing, and control systemsExperience with AV system integration, signal distribution, DSP, audio processing, video processing, and control systemsSound understanding of AV system architecture, network infrastructure, equipment interfaces, and system integrationFamiliarity with relevant international standards, project specifications, and authority requirementsKey ResponsibilitiesInspect and supervise AV installations to verify compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and project requirementsReview shop drawings, material submittals, technical submissions, method statements, and as-built documentationWitness and monitor testing, commissioning, programming, and system integration of AV systemsVerify AV equipment installation, cabling, termination, labeling, and system functionalityCoordinate with AV contractors, specialist vendors, consultants, and project teams to resolve technical issuesMonitor the quality and progress of AV works and identify non-compliance or defectsReview testing and commissioning documentation and ensure all systems are fully operational prior to handoverAssist in the coordination of AV systems with IT, ELV, electrical, architectural, interior design, and other building servicesEnsure proper documentation and close-out of AV systems, including testing records, O&M manuals, warranties, and as-built drawingsAttend site meetings and provide technical input related to AV systems as required
