Senior Avaloq Integration Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Senior Avaloq Integration Engineer to join a leading Swiss private banking environment in Basel. In this role, you will work at the intersection of banking, application integration, and modern technology, designing and delivering scalable integration solutions that support critical banking processes and enable high-quality digital services.Your RoleAs a Senior Avaloq Integration Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining integration solutions within a complex banking environment. You will work extensively with Avaloq, containerised platforms, event-driven architectures, and real-time messaging, while collaborating closely with infrastructure, release management, and other technology teams.You will play an important role in strategic integration initiatives and contribute to the continuous development of the bank's technology landscape.Your ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain scalable services on the Avaloq Container Platform Reference (ACPR) and OpenShiftDevelop robust integration solutions using the Avaloq Business Event Grid (BEG)Contribute to strategic integration projects involving bi-directional, real-time message streaming with Apache KafkaAnalyse, troubleshoot, and resolve complex integration issues across multiple systems and channelsCollaborate closely with infrastructure and release management teams to ensure high-quality solutions from design through deploymentSupport testing activities, implementation campaigns, and production rolloutsContribute to the continuous improvement of integration architecture, processes, and technical standardsYour ProfileUniversity or university of applied sciences degree in Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or a comparable fieldAt least 5 years of practical experience in systems integration within the banking industrySolid professional experience with AvaloqAn Avaloq Academy professional certification, such as Avaloq Certified Integration Professional (ACIP), is an advantageExperience with OpenShift, OpenAPI, Apache Kafka, or .NET is an advantageStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex situations and set priorities effectivelyHands-on mentality combined with the ability to work independently and take ownershipStrong communication and collaboration skillsFluent EnglishYou would join a technology-driven banking environment where innovation, reliability, and high-quality integration solutions play a central role.
