You'll own the backend systems that sit at the heart of the customer journey — from initial registration through identity verification, compliance checks, and account activation.This is not a maintenance role. The platform is scaling and there is meaningful greenfield work ahead.What you'll be doingDesigning and building scalable backend services in C# that power the customer onboarding experienceOwning the full lifecycle of features — from architecture decisions through to productionWorking closely with product, compliance, and frontend engineers to deliver a seamless onboarding flowBuilding integrations with third party KYC, AML, and identity verification providersEnsuring systems are performant, secure, and reliable at scale on AWSContributing to engineering standards, code reviews, and technical direction across the teamWhat we're looking for5+ years of backend engineering experience with strong C# and .NETSolid AWS experience — comfortable across core services (Lambda, RDS, SQS, S3, API Gateway)Experience building financial or regulated platforms — fintech, banking, payments or similarUnderstanding of KYC, AML, or customer onboarding flows is a strong advantageStrong fundamentals — microservices, REST APIs, event-driven architectureSomeone who takes ownership, communicates clearly, and cares about the quality of what they shipWhat's on offerCompetitive salary — relocation support provided for the right candidateVisa and housing allowanceThe chance to build something that matters in one of the fastest moving fintech markets in the world
