Job Title: Senior Backend EngineerWhat you'll doDesign, build, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs that power data-intensive productsOwn database architecture — schema design, indexing strategy, backup/restore procedures, and high availability across environmentsMonitor scheduled jobs, workflows, and alerts; proactively diagnose and resolve issues before they impact usersPerform SQL performance tuning and query optimization to keep systems fast at scaleIntegrate AI tools (Copilot, Cursor, Claude) into your daily development and troubleshooting workflow to accelerate deliveryAutomate operational tasks through scripting and infrastructure-as-code practicesCollaborate with data and product teams to translate requirements into robust, well-tested backend systemsWhat we're looking for4+ years in backend engineering with significant hands-on database administration experience (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL)Strong proficiency building backend services with dotnetDeep expertise in database internals — execution plans, indexing, partitioning, replication, and disaster recoverySolid understanding of RESTful API design, service architecture, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)Experience with job scheduling systems, alerting pipelines, and observability toolingStrong scripting skills for automation (Python, Bash, or PowerShell)
