Our Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) solution enables manufacturers to measure and manage carbon emissions, helping them make more sustainable decisions through data.With offices in Seoul and Daejeon, Glassdome is redefining how manufacturers collect, manage, and utilize industrial data.About the Software Engineer Team & RoleThe Software Engineer Team is at the core of Glassdome's manufacturing platform and Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) solutions.As a Senior Backend Software Engineer, you will design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems that process manufacturing and carbon emissions data. Working closely with Product Managers, Frontend Engineers, and other cross-functional teams, you'll help build reliable, high-performance systems that support our growing platform and customers.You'll also contribute to technical decisions, improve engineering practices, and help drive the team's technical excellence.Tech Stack:LanguageGo (Golang)ArchitectureMicroservicesDistributed SystemsSoftware ArchitectureDesign PatternsgRPCProtocol Buffers (protobuf)DatabaseSQL Databases (PostgreSQL, TimescaleDB)Caching Mechanisms (Redis)InfrastructureDockerKubernetesAWSDevelopmentCode ReviewsTestingDeploymentDevOpsQualifications:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.5+ years of professional software development experience.Experience with Go is a plus.Experience building large-scale distributed systems.Strong understanding of software architecture and design patterns.Experience with microservices; knowledge of gRPC and Protocol Buffers is a plus.Proficiency with SQL Working at Glassdome and caching mechanisms.Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS.Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset.Passion for writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code.Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools is a strong plus.Working at GlassdomeThe position begins with a three-month probationary period, followed by conversion to permanent employment based on a performance evaluation. Full salary is provided during the probationary period.Remote work is available.
