Senior Backup & Storage EngineerExperience: 7–10+ YearsEmployment Type: Full-TimeWe are seeking a Senior Backup & Storage Engineer with strong hands-on experience in enterprise backup, data protection, storage infrastructure, cloud storage, and Windows file services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing backup platforms, storage environments, cyber recovery solutions, and cloud-native backup services.Key ResponsibilitiesAdminister Commvault Backup for VMs, databases, Kubernetes clusters, and enterprise file shares.Manage Commvault Cloud (Metallic) for Microsoft 365 backup and recovery.Administer Dell PowerProtect Data Manager (PPDM), including backup policies, agent deployment, protection, and restores.Manage Dell Cyber Recovery Solution (CRS) Vault, including air-gapped copies, synchronization, policies, and compliance.Manage Azure Native Backup and OCI Native Backup environments.Administer Dell PowerScale (Isilon), including NFS/SMB shares, capacity, permissions, and cluster operations.Manage Dell ECS object storage, bucket policies, and API integrations.Administer Pure Storage FlashBlade for S3/Object Storage.Manage Azure Files, Azure Blob Storage, and OCI Object Storage, including access policies, lifecycle management, replication, and security.Administer Windows File Server Clusters, including high availability, disk resources, and access controls.Configure and manage DFS Namespace (DFSN) and DFS Replication (DFSR).Perform backup/restore troubleshooting, capacity planning, performance monitoring, and disaster recovery activities.Maintain backup compliance, documentation, reporting, and operational procedures.Required SkillsStrong expertise in Commvault, Dell PPDM, and enterprise backup technologies.Hands-on experience with Dell PowerScale, Dell ECS, and Pure FlashBlade.Experience with Azure Storage and OCI Object Storage.Strong knowledge of Windows Server, File Services, DFSN, and DFSR.Experience with cyber recovery, air-gapped backups, and ransomware-resilient data protection.Strong troubleshooting, incident management, and disaster recovery skills.Experience working in large-scale enterprise environments.Preferred CertificationsCommvault Certified ProfessionalDell Technologies certificationsMicrosoft Azure certificationsRelevant storage, backup, or cloud certificationsImmediate Joiners / Short Notice Candidates Preferred.
