The company values curiosity, hospitality, and a strong commitment to craft.Role Description The Senior Barista is a full-time, on-site role based at our café in the Pune Division. This role is responsible for preparing and serving specialty coffee beverages, overseeing daily café operations, and ensuring a consistently high standard of service and product quality. Day-to-day tasks include dialing in espresso, brewing filter coffee, managing food preparation for baked items, maintaining cleanliness and organization of the bar and café, and supporting inventory management. The Senior Barista will guide and train junior team members, help refine drink recipes, and contribute to a welcoming atmosphere for guests. This position also involves engaging with customers, explaining menu items, and promoting the 729 Grams Coffee Roasters brand.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Barista skills, including espresso extraction, milk steaming, and specialty coffee preparation.Candidates should possess solid Customer Service and Interpersonal Skills to create a warm, professional guest experience.Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for interacting with customers and coordinating with team members.Candidates should possess Food Preparation skills relevant to café service and basic bakehouse operations.Candidates should ideally have prior experience in specialty coffee or café environments and basic knowledge of coffee roasting or brewing methods.Candidates should be able to stand for extended periods, work flexible shifts, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced setting.Candidates should demonstrate reliability, a collaborative mindset, and a willingness to learn and grow with a startup café.
