The resort features over 20 curated restaurants and lounges, the traditional Souk Madinat Jumeirah, dedicated kids' clubs and some of the region’s most versatile event and conference spaces.About the JobAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Barista - Food & Beverage to join Jumeirah Al Naseem from October 2026 onwards.The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:Oversee the preparation of specialty coffee drinks, including espresso, cappuccino, latte, and other beverages, ensuring adherence to recipes, quality standards, and customer preferences.Maintain high standards of coffee quality, freshness, and flavor by properly sourcing, storing, and brewing coffee beans, and regularly calibrating equipment.Provide friendly and knowledgeable customer service, engaging customers to discuss coffee options, answer questions, and make recommendations based on their preferences.Efficiently process customer orders, accurately preparing and serving coffee drinks and other menu items in a timely manner, while prioritizing customer satisfaction.Collaborate with management on menu development, suggesting new coffee offerings, seasonal specials, and promotional items to enhance the café's offerings and attract customers.Assist in controlling costs and maximizing profitability by managing portion sizes, minimizing waste, and optimizing ingredient usage in coffee preparation.About YouThe ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:Diploma/Degree in Hospitality IndustryBasic Food and Hygiene TrainingExperience of working in an international capacity and a clear understanding of cultural differences showcasing trust and respect for everyone1 - 3 years Barista / Bartending experience within the international hospitalityProficient in English (Read/Write/Speak – Essential)Knowledge of additional language (Desired)About the BenefitsAt Jumeirah, we are dedicated to fostering a workplace where colleagues feel valued, supported, and inspired to grow.
