The resort features over 20 curated restaurants and lounges, the traditional Souk Madinat Jumeirah, dedicated kids' clubs and some of the region’s most versatile event and conference spaces.About the JobAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Bartender to join Pierchic in Jumeirah Al Qasr.The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails and other drinks according to beverage recipes. Curate recipes specialising in fine beverages and unique cocktails in accordance with theme of the outlet/function or as required by guestsMust be able to assess and manage guests’ needs and recommend excellent wine and food pairing as per theme of the outlet or as required by guests. Where possible, upsell Beverages to guests based on their need, choice, and selectionWork closely with Bartenders serving all guests and support them as necessary to ensure excellent service deliverySetup the bar appropriately, ensuring the visuals and merchandise are placed appropriately. Arrange bottles and glasses to make attractive displaysOversee Bar inventories, ensure the checking of expiration dates and that all perishable garnishes are stored and recorded in designated storage areaAbout YouThe ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:Diploma/Degree in Hospitality IndustryBasic Food and Hygiene TrainingExperience of working in an international capacity and a clear understanding of cultural differences showcasing trust and respect for everyone2 - 3 years Bartending experience within the international hospitalityProficient in English (Read/Write/Speak – Essential)Knowledge of additional language (Desired)About the BenefitsAt Jumeirah, we are dedicated to fostering a workplace where colleagues feel valued, supported, and inspired to grow.
