Here, your contribution has real impact and individual growth is taken seriously.Requirements3+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics or similar roles, ideally within enterprise environments.Strong hands-on experience with Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.Advanced knowledge of DAX, including the development of complex measures, KPIs and calculation logic.Strong experience in semantic modelling, including star-schema design, fact and dimension modelling.Solid knowledge of SQL and Power Query/M for data extraction, transformation and preparation.Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, including OneLake, Lakehouse, Warehouse and Data Factory.Experience managing Power BI Service workspaces, Apps, gateways, refreshes, semantic models and Deployment Pipelines.Experience implementing Row-Level Security (RLS) and managing BI access and security.Strong knowledge of Power BI performance optimisation and scalability best practices.Experience ingesting and transforming data from multiple sources, including SQL databases, APIs, cloud platforms and flat files.Knowledge of Direct Lake, composite models, XMLA, calculation groups and TMDL is highly valued.Experience with performance and modelling tools such as Tabular Editor, DAX Studio and VertiPaq Analyzer.Understanding of BI governance, data quality, lineage, monitoring, testing and release management.Familiarity with Microsoft Purview, Fabric capacity management and Azure Data Services is a plus.Experience with Power BI REST APIs, CI/CD and source control is highly valued.Ability to translate business requirements into scalable enterprise BI solutions.Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work closely with business, Data Engineering and Data Platform teams.Ability to review technical solutions and mentor other analysts/developers.Proactive, hands-on and problem-solving mindset.Availability to work in a hybrid model, 1–2 days per week on-site in Rio Tinto (Porto).Find with us the right opportunity to grow!What you can expect from us:· Long-term projects with national and international context· Opportunities to grow technically and professionally· A people-first culture, focused on transparency and trust· Teams that value ownership, collaboration and stabilityJoin us Send us your CV in English to joana.ramos@decskill.comYour next challenge might start here.
