Senior Billing & Revenue Controller

We are seeking an experienced Senior Billing & Revenue Controller to take ownership of billing, WIP, debtor and revenue control activities across the business. Working closely with Finance and senior stakeholders, the role will focus on accurate and timely billing, improving fee recovery and cash collection, and providing meaningful analysis to support revenue performance and decision-making.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Manage the end-to-end billing process across all jurisdictions, ensuring timely and accurate invoicingTake ownership of WIP and debtor management, challenging balances, recoverability and aged debt to maximise fee recovery and cash collectionWork closely with Client Relationship Directors, Administration Teams and Finance to resolve billing and collection issues and improve revenue performanceMonitor WIP, utilisation, revenue and debtor trends, identifying risks and opportunities and providing recommendations to senior managementProduce regular management information and reporting covering revenue, WIP, recoverability, debtors, write-offs and cash collectionsSupport budgeting, forecasting, fee reviews and wider revenue optimisation initiativesDrive timely completion of timesheets and accurate WIP and revenue reportingDevelop and improve billing, revenue and credit control processesAct as a key point of escalation for complex billing, recoverability and debtor mattersBuild strong relationships across the businessQUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:Proven experience in billing, credit control, accounts receivable or revenue management within a professional services environmentStrong understanding of billing cycles, WIP management, debtor control and cash collection processesExperience analysing financial dataAdvanced Excel skills SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES:Excellent attention to detailConfident communicator with strong stakeholder management skillsA continuous improvement mindsetComfortable working across teams and taking ownership of issues through to resolutionMust be Entitled or Entitled to work in Jersey
