It's a chance to take ownership of people, processes, and production, ensuring every batch meets the standards that have made Beavertown one of the UK's most recognised breweries.If you're a technically strong brewer, a natural leader, and someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment where no two shifts look the same, we'd love to hear from you.What You'll Be DoingAs Senior Brewer, you'll support the Brewing Manager while acting as a shift leader across our production operations.You'll be the person keeping the brewery running smoothly, solving problems in real time, coaching the team, and ensuring quality never slips. You'll be:Leading brewing operations on shift, coordinating production activities across both breweriesManaging and supporting Production Brewers and Junior Brewers, creating a culture of accountability, engagement and continuous improvementRunning shift handovers, troubleshooting issues, and escalating where necessaryHelping build and adapt production plans to keep beer flowing efficiently and on timeEnsuring all products meet quality specifications through effective monitoring, sampling and analysisDriving excellent housekeeping, hygiene, safety and compliance standardsSupporting continuous improvement projects across Health & Safety, quality, sustainability and operational efficiencyMaintaining accurate records across systems including BOTEC, SAP and Microsoft OfficeCoaching, training and mentoring brewers to develop capability across the teamWorking Arrangements On-site - This role forms part of a 24/7 brewing operation, including weekends and bank holidays when required.Shift Pattern - Rotating shifts including Early shifts, Evening shifts, and Night shiftsAbout YouEssentialSignificant experience in a brewery production environmentStrong understanding of brewing science, brewing processes, beer quality and brewery operationsIBD Diploma (or equivalent qualification underway)Strong planning, organisation and record-keeping skillsExperience working with production systems and dataIntermediate Excel capabilityExcellent communication skills and a collaborative approachAbility to stay calm under pressure and make informed, data-driven decisionsFlexibility to work across a 24-hour shift operationBonus Points ForPrevious experience leading or supervising production teamsCompleted CIBD Diploma in Brewing or MSc Brewing qualificationKnowledge of mechanical or electrical engineering principlesLaboratory testing and quality analysis experienceExperience leading continuous improvement projectsYou'll Thrive Here If You...Love developing people and helping teams succeedEnjoy solving complex operational challengesAre obsessed with quality and continuous improvementCan switch between strategic thinking and hands-on problem solvingWant to help shape the future of one of the UK's most exciting breweriesWhy Beavertown?We're serious about brewing outstanding beer.
