Location: DubaiSalary range: AED 4,000–7,000Working schedule: Six days per week, 10:00 AM–6:00 PMAbout the roleWe are seeking an experienced couture professional to lead the pattern making, cutting, and production of custom wedding dresses, with additional work on evening wear.

This role combines hands-on technical expertise with team leadership and client consultation, ensuring each garment meets the required design, fit, and finishing standards.Key responsibilities· Create and refine patterns for couture evening and bridal dresses, translating design concepts and client measurements into accurate garment patterns.· Cut fabrics precisely and oversee garment construction, including sewing, boning, corsetry, and couture finishing.· Assess garment fit and make pattern and tailoring adjustments to achieve the intended silhouette and finish.· Lead and guide junior tailors, coordinate production tasks, and monitor workmanship and delivery timelines.· Consult with clients on material selection and design options for custom orders.· Maintain consistent quality throughout pattern development, cutting, sewing, and final garment preparation.· Protect confidential client information, designs, and production materials, and obtain authorization before sharing work-related content publicly.Qualifications and skills· Extensive experience in couture evening and bridal wear, typically 10 or more years in pattern making and 10–15 years in dressmaking or tailoring. Candidates with fewer years of experience may be considered based on an exceptional relevant portfolio.· Proven expertise in pattern making, fabric cutting, sewing, boning, corsetry, and couture garment construction.· A strong portfolio demonstrating technical skill, garment fit, and the quality of completed evening or bridal dresses.· Experience leading a team of junior tailors and coordinating dress production.· Strong client consultation skills and the ability to explain fabric and design choices clearly.· Fluency in English for client consultations and team communication.· Attention to detail, effective organization, and the ability to meet agreed production deadlines.AccommodationTemporary accommodation may be provided at the beginning of employment.
