Senior Business Analyst – AML / Regulatory Reporting1-Year Contract | Hybrid – Toronto | 2 Days Onsite | Extension & Conversion PossibleSeeking a Senior Business Analyst with strong Financial Services experience to support AML regulatory reporting and data-focused initiatives. This role will lead complex requirements work, coordinate across multiple project workstreams, and partner closely with business and technology stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesLead requirements gathering and documentation across complex regulatory projects and programs.Provide BA leadership and governance across multiple workstreams/pods.Define delivery approaches, work plans, dependencies, risks and requirements timelines.Document and validate current-state processes, business needs and potential solutions.Analyze impacts across customers, processes, technology, stakeholders and budgets.Manage requirements interdependencies, changes, risks and issues.Drive stakeholder alignment, approvals and sign-off.Support data analysis including mapping, lineage, data quality and source-to-target mapping.Must Have8–10+ years of Business Analysis experience within Financial Services.Strong experience working in both Agile and Waterfall environments.Knowledge of AML and regulatory reporting, including KYC, CDD, LCTR/CTR, STR and FINTRAC requirements.Experience with Transaction Monitoring and/or Customer Risk Rating applications.Strong data analysis experience, including data lineage, data quality and source-to-target mapping.Experience leading requirements for large, complex or regulatory initiatives.Excellent stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills.Experience with JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint, Visio, Excel and MS Office.University degree in Business, Finance or a related discipline.Nice to HaveAML, sanctions or related certification.Business Analysis accreditation/certification.Location: Toronto, hybrid – currently 2 days onsiteDuration: 12 monthsStart: ASAPSchedule: Monday–Friday, core business hoursExtension/Conversion: PossibleNote: We use AI tools to: obtain basic information, detect plagiarism, false employment history or references, categorize your skills, and do an initial match with job posting.
