This role will focus on regulatory reporting programs including Large Cash Transaction Reporting (LCTR), Currency Transaction Reporting (CTR), Suspicious Transaction Reporting (STR), and data-focused initiatives involving data lineage, source-to-target mapping, data quality, and data modeling.The successful candidate will serve as a senior member of the project team, driving requirements activities, collaborating with business and technology stakeholders, and providing leadership and governance to other Business Analysts across multiple workstreams.Key ResponsibilitiesLead business analysis activities on large-scale regulatory, compliance, and strategic programs.Gather, document, validate, and obtain sign-off for business and functional requirements.Facilitate stakeholder workshops and requirements sessions across business and technology teams.Lead and mentor Business Analysts to ensure consistency in requirements management and documentation standards.Develop project delivery approaches and requirements work plans aligned to project milestones.Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for process improvements.Assess impacts to customers, operations, data, technology, risk, and compliance functions.Manage requirements dependencies across multiple projects and workstreams.Evaluate change requests and assess impacts to project scope and objectives.Identify, document, and manage project risks, assumptions, and issues.Support regulatory reporting initiatives and AML compliance programs.Perform data analysis activities including:Data LineageData MappingSource-to-Target MappingData Quality AssessmentData ModelingRequired QualificationsExperience8-10+ years of Business Analysis experience within Banking or Financial Services.Proven experience working on large-scale regulatory, compliance, or transformation projects.Strong experience working in both Agile and Waterfall environments.Experience leading requirements workstreams and collaborating with senior stakeholders.AML & Regulatory KnowledgeStrong understanding of:Anti-Money Laundering (AML)Know Your Customer (KYC)Customer Due Diligence (CDD)FINTRAC regulationsLarge Cash Transaction Reporting (LCTR)Currency Transaction Reporting (CTR)Suspicious Transaction Reporting (STR)Technical & Data Analysis SkillsExperience with:Data AnalysisData LineageData MappingSource-to-Target MappingData QualityData ModelingTransaction Monitoring SystemsCustomer Risk Rating ApplicationsTools & TechnologiesJIRAConfluenceSharePointMicrosoft TeamsMicrosoft ExcelMicrosoft VisioMicrosoft WordPowerPointMicrosoft ProjectProfessional SkillsStrong stakeholder management and relationship-building abilities.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to influence and build consensus across diverse groups.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking capabilities.Self-starter with excellent organizational and time management skills.Able to thrive in fast-paced, highly regulated environments.EducationUniversity degree in Business, Finance, Technology, or a related discipline.Business Analysis accreditation or certification considered an asset.Nice-to-HaveAML or Financial Crime certifications.AML Sanctions experience.CBAP, PMI-PBA, or related Business Analysis certification.Previous experience delivering FINTRAC regulatory reporting initiatives.Why Apply?Work with one of Canada's leading financial institutions.High-profile AML and regulatory reporting initiatives.Long-term contract with strong potential for extension and conversion.Exposure to enterprise-wide data and compliance transformation programs.Collaborative environment with senior business, compliance, and technology leaders.Use AI for Hiring: Our recruitment process for this role includes the use of AI-based tools to help evaluate candidate qualifications and screen applications.Why Kelly?At Kelly®, we’re committed to finding rewarding opportunities that help you thrive—both professionally and personally.
